About Us

The Glenburn Figure Skating Club  is an affiliated club of NZIFSA, based at Paradice Avondale, in West Auckland.

The club was formed in 1982 with the aim of meeting the needs of all figure skaters.

From tiny tots to the not so young, both competitive and social, complete beginners to national champions; we aim to help you with your journey though the intricacies of figure skating.

To support our aims and to help our skaters when competing out of Auckland, our committee also organises and manages fundraising activities.

The key aims of our club are to:

•  ​​​​​​​Promote the sport of figure skating

•  ​​​​​​​Provide support and encouragement to both competitive and social skaters

•  ​​​​​​​Promote and manage an annual championship competition 

•  ​​​​​​​Keep our members informed with happenings from our skating community

•  ​​​​​​​Represent the interests of our skaters to our national body, the NZIFSA

•  ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Foster relationships with other NZIFSA affiliated skating clubs​​​​​​​
